Helping Hand Rescue Mission: News and Notes

* * * Valentine's Day Sale * * *

The Mission's Annual Valentine's Fundraiser Boutique Sale is coming soon. Donate items for the sale through the month of January. Help at the sale, or come down and shop for amazing bargains, on February 2nd, 3rd, and 4th from 10am - 4pm. All proceeds from the sale go towards funding the Mission's programs.

* * * Christmas Party Pictures * * *

The Helping Hand Rescue Mission's 46th Annual Children's Christmas Party was a huge success!!! The party was well attended and the kids and their parents had a great time. The good news of the Gospel was shared and we had a visit from Santa! Click here to see some pictures of the party. A BIG thanks to all those that donated presents and volunteered time to wrap the gifts, decorate for the party, help at the party, and clean up after the party. The Mission and the community that we serve were tremendously blessed by your generosity and willingness to help others.

* * * Food Pantry Needs * * *

A big thanks to all those that have been helping to restock our pantry!! We have been blessed by the generosity of our community and pray that people will continue to remember those in need. The food drives on Saturday, December 3 (King Kullen in Huntington Station and Northport) were very successful. Anyone interested in sponsoring a Food Drive of their own can call the Mission at 631-351-6996 or send an email to volunteer@hhrm.net.
